One of  the highlights of the summer programme was the visit to Trevor Waugh's studio in the Cotswolds. We all enjoyed a very entertaining and informative demonstration. The subject was flowers and a watercolour painting based on roses was produced during the demonstration. The loose and relaxed approach to the subject matter was wonderful to behold and a lovely lively painting was the end result. We were priviliged to view Trevor's sketch books covering a wide variety of subject matter. Trevor was very generous with his time and was ready to discuss his paintings and sketch books at length, in fact we were all so engrossed that we were late for our lunch in Burford. It was a memorable day out finished off by a visit to the delightful village of Bibury.
